flyadeal, Saudi Arabia's budget airline, is planning to expand its operations into India within the next 12 months, according to CEO Steve Greenway. The airline, a subsidiary of national carrier Saudia, currently operates from its bases in Jeddah, Riyadh, and Dammam, covering a domestic and international network spanning about 30 destinations.

Greenway highlighted India as a key target market due to the large number of workers and religious travelers from the Subcontinent. "The market size in India is huge," Greenway stated at the Skift Global Forum East in Dubai on Wednesday. While China is also on the radar, India’s potential is particularly significant for the airline’s expansion strategy.

flyadeal already has a codeshare agreement with Saudia, which allows seamless connections between the airline's routes and Saudia’s European network via hubs in Riyadh and Jeddah. This partnership enhances flyadeal’s appeal to travelers flying from the Subcontinent.
